Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is perfect for a results-driven individual who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and contributing to the growth of our client base. The primary focus will be selling annual fire alarm monitoring and inspections for fire sprinklers, fire alarms, and fire pumps to new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Acquisition: Engage in door-to-door outreach to establish relationships with potential clients and promote our fire protection services, including selling fire alarm monitoring, fire & life safety inspections, and service contracts and agreements.

  • Sales Development: Present and sell annual inspection services and fire alarm monitoring to businesses, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

  • Data Management: Accurately enter client and sales data into our company’s tracking software to monitor progress and calculate commissions.

  • Market Analysis: Research and identify target markets and customer needs.

  • Relationship Building: Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities and progress towards goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in fire protection, safety services, or a related field.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

  • Knowledge of fire safety systems and services is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
